It’s here – that time of year when the Christmas songs you’ve been listening to every year for as long as you can remember are played wherever you go.

In true Christmas spirit, we’ve been listening to our favourite timeless classics that get us in the mood to put up the Christmas tree, wrap the presents and tuck into a mince pie (or two!).

You can find classics littered throughout the decades; from the age-old traditional carols like 12 days of Christmas,  to the classic Nat King Cole, the 70’s era with Wizzard and Slade, into the 80’s with Wham! and Band Aid, even the 90’s with Mariah Carey.

There’s so many to choose from, but here are some of our ultimate Christmas songs that get us in the mood; so why not tell us what your favourites are?

We’d love to hear yours  – so tell us your favourite Christmas song, send us a photo, video or whatever you like and you could even appear on our blog!

In the meantime, we can’t stop ourselves listening to them and feeling festive, so here’s our favourites:

Fairytale of New York – The Pogues:
