Employees at AJG Bournemouth voted for Julia’s House Children’s Hospice to be their chosen charity for 2016, and have been organising various fundraising activities to support this local charity. To date, they have raised nearly £2,000, including charity matching.

Julias HouseOn Saturday 11th June, 20 AJG team members will be taking part in a World Record Sky-dive attempt to help raise money for Julia’s House.

The aim is to complete the most tandem jumps in England in 24 hours, across 8 different jump sites. AJG will be jumping at the airfield in Old Sarum Park, Salisbury, where they will freefall at 120mph from 12,000 feet.

In addition to the sky-dive, AJG will be organising a cake stall at the jump site to help maximise the amount raised.

Once the cost of the jump has been paid, each team member hopes to raise a minimum of £200 for Julia’s House, which will be doubled through Gallagher’s Employee Matched Giving scheme. This means AJG Bournemouth stands to raise around £8,000 for the charity.
