Insure4Retirement raises over £17,000 for Forest Holme

Each year, the team at Insure4Retirement choose a local charity to support for the following year. Throughout 2019, we supported a local specialist palliative care unit called Forest Holme Hospice.

We are lucky to have a parent company, Gallagher who puts charity at the heart of our culture and matches any money we raise for our chosen charity. As well as paying £10 an hour to any charity we volunteer our hours to.

As usual, the team threw themselves into a range of charitable activities, including cake sales, charity quizzes, raffles, 100 mile cycles, a 24 hour gaming marathon and a wing walk.

We set ourselves a target of £15,000, which we hit earlier this year, bringing our current total for the year to £17,241.

We’re incredibly proud of the team for once again smashing our target this year, and look forward to raising money for our 2020 chosen charity, which is being voted on currently.

Here’s a couple of pictures of our team efforts over the year.
